The Gregorian calendar and the Julian calendar both consist of 12 months in a year. A year has 365 days long in a common year and 366 days long in a leap year. Every month has either 28, 30 or 31 days in a common year. If it is a leap year we have extra day at the end of the February month, and is called leap day. i.e February 29 is a date that generally occurs every four years.

Calendar has seven months with thirty one(31) days long, four months with thirty(30) days long in a common and leap year. Finally the February month has either twenty eight(28) days long in a common year or twenty nine(29) days long in a leap year.
